I am specifically interested in the links between ADHD and emotional regulation.
I am a neuroaffirming integrative therapist who supports clients in navigating and understanding their unique brain, including how they may thrive in certain environments and systems while struggling in others. I work with clients to develop a sense of awareness that allows them to unmask and let go of feeling like something needs to be "fixed". My aim is to support clients who struggle with shame, guilt and overwhelming emotions by uncovering their needs as well as their strengths and abilities.

I specialise in working with neurodiverse clients—including ADHD and Autism spectrum —in a warm, neuro-affirming space.
My approach recognises your strengths, acknowledges the challenges, and honours your unique way of being. Therapy is about more than coping—it’s about feeling safe enough to explore what matters to you. We’ll tailor strategies for emotional regulation, self-understanding, and communication in ways that fit your reality—not someone else’s.

I have developed a growing focus on supporting individuals from LGBTQ+ communities, ethnic minority backgrounds, and those with ADHD.
It’s tough when relationships feel stuck in the same patterns or when emotions become too overwhelming. You might feel disconnected from yourself, unsure where you belong, or struggling to express who you are. Maybe the spaces around you don’t always make room for difference, leaving you feeling unseen. I offer a space where you can share your story, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with who you are beneath the layers of inhibitions, impositions and expectations that may have accumulated over time.

As an ex-lawyer I have personally experienced stress related burnout, work-place trauma, major depression, anxiety, grief, and adult diagnosis of ADD neurodiversity.
Are you stuck, finding life hard to manage or struggling with neurodiversity? Work with me to reconnect with your authentic self, the things that bring you joy and not get stuck on automatic pilot, playing parts that don't work any longer. You don't need to be unwell to benefit from psychosynthesis or mindfulness, although most people come to therapy when something gets stuck or unworkable in their lives. Whatever your reason to seek help, I believe in reconnecting you with what makes your heart sing.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?

You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?

Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?

It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
