I have a particular interest in neurodivergence: I live with ADHD myself, which gives me both personal and professional understanding.
I draw on psychosynthesis and Somatic Experiencing — working with mind, body, and the different parts of the self. Conversation is central, but not only conversation. I may invite attention to what's arising physically as we speak. This often opens something that thinking alone doesn't reach.

I am a counsellor with a specialisation in working with ADHD-affected clients and the unique emotional challenges surrounding diagnosis and treatment.
In addition to thousands of hours with ADHD clients, couples and groups, I train other therapists how to work with ADHD clients in my ‘Working with ADHD’ workshops. I have my own ADHD-focussed resource and information website, and am regularly featured in magazines, online articles and podcasts.

I am queer and affirming of neurodiversity, and I have particular experience working with ADHD and individuals from the LGBTQ+ community.
As a therapist, I support my clients to meet life's challenges and appreciate its gifts. Would you like to feel more freedom and ease and a clearer sense of direction in your life? Do you feel a pull to get to know your authentic self? Are you struggling with anxiety or difficulties in your relationship? Whatever you're bringing to therapy, everything is welcome and I'll be there alongside you to meet it. Through this enquiry it becomes possible to turn towards what hurts and to reconnect with a sense of wellness within yourself. I offer a dynamic therapeutic relationship where we delve into this process together.

I also work with adult ADHD - whether you’re just curious about whether you might have ADHD through to those diagnosed and seeking help and clarity around what that means for them.
I recognise no two people are the same and I always respect each persons uniqueness and individuality. As an integrative therapist I have experience in working with various forms of therapy including psychodynamic, humanistic , CBT and EMDR amongst others. This allows me to tailor the therapy to what works best for each individual.

For me, therapy works best when it feels like a real human relationship – professional, boundaried, & psychologically informed, but also warm & collaborative. My first priority is to help you feel safe enough to be honest (including about the parts you don’t usually say out loud). We’ll go at a pace that’s manageable & make sense of what’s going on together rather than me “doing therapy to you.” I’ll bring compassion & steadiness, but I’m also not afraid to be direct when something matters in a way that’s respectful. The aim is always to help you understand yourself better & leave sessions with something useful to take into life.

There are times in our life when we can feel sad, anxious, overwhelmed or unfufilled. Therapy can provide support through challenging times, or a space for exploration of patterns that cause us to feel stuck and unhappy. I offer a warm, open and non judgemental space where we can explore your unique needs together at your own pace.

People tend to reach out when something feels off, stuck, or difficult to carry on their own. You might be dealing with anxiety, relationship challenges, or a sense that something needs to change, even if you’re not quite sure what that looks like yet. I offer a space where you can talk openly and feel heard, without pressure or judgement. We can take the time to understand what’s going on for you, and also look at what might help you move forward in a way that feels right. Alongside counselling, I also offer coaching, which can be more focused on goals and direction. We can decide together what kind of support would suit you best

I work mostly with autistic and ADHD adults, people from stressful or unhappy families, and people in their 20s facing a quarter-life crisis.
My approach to therapy is person-centred, which means I believe that you know best what's right for you, not me. I'm there to be accepting, curious and safe, and to help you find your own answers. I've found this works especially well for neurodivergent people.

I support neurodivergent clients, whether you have a formal diagnosis or are simply exploring traits like ADHD, autism, or other forms of neurodiversity.
Hello, I’m Megan, a qualified integrative counsellor and therapist. Over time, we develop beliefs about who we are and how we should be. These beliefs can shape our behaviours, often without us realising. You might find yourself stuck in familiar patterns, unsure where they come from or how to move beyond them. In our work together, we'll explore these patterns with curiosity, awareness, and compassion—helping you reconnect with what truly feels right for you.

As a queer, AuDHD therapist, I bring my own lived experience and knowledge to this work and I'm committed to helping those in these communities flourish.
I offer a warm, empathic space for people who’d like to explore how they are feeling about their lives. My sessions often hold a spectrum of reflective moments of profound depth, creative moments that reveal what our logical minds might not be able to grasp, and moments of humour and play that strengthen our connection and remind us that we’re human. I am committed to actively creating a therapy space where clients might be able to speak about all parts of their lived experience, including the ways that they have been marginalised in our society. It’s important to me that my approach is open-minded, curious and non-defensive.

I appreciate that people might be coming to therapy with different preconceptions, goals, past experiences, and/or worries. As starting therapy takes a lot of courage, it is important we go at your pace. As such, our first session together will focus on: Getting to know each other to make sure I am the right fit for you, and exploring the difficulties you would like support with. We might also start to develop your goals and think about the type of therapy best suited to meet these. covering other important aspects such as confidentiality, session length, and timings so we know what to expect from each other.

I specialise in ADHD and Autism, Addiction (alcohol, substances, porn and sex) and sexual abuse.
We are all influenced by the people in our lives and the experiences we have had both past and present, all of which serve to shape and define us. Sometimes we need help in understanding how the culmination of these factors can get in the way of being able to live life fully and with ease. Maybe you're looking for relief from the pain of anxiety or depression. You could be struggling with life changes or loss. You may want a better relationship with yourself and/or those closest to you. I offer a non-judgemental space in which I can help you to explore your feelings, beliefs and patterns of behaviour.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
