I see clients who struggle with existential crises, anxiety/depression, career and relationship struggles, parenting concerns, lack of motivation or confidence, or people who simply seek greater clarity, depth or direction in life.
As a philosophical therapist, I offer a supportive environment in which to explore your thoughts and emotions, as well as stimulating dialogue in which you will strengthen your ability to face challenges by using creative and deeply reflective thinking. The idea is to think big and come at problems from a fresh and sometimes surprising perspective. I also help problem-solve at the level of habits, when it's time to put our philosophical reflections into practice and make desired changes at the level of daily living. The goal is to discover a greater sense of possibility and to use that to live with greater clarity and authenticity.

My approach focuses on empowering women, clients in general, in their quest to know and free themselves on a deeper level, to live more meaningful and purposeful lives, to overcome every crisis, traumatic experiences and recreating self-image and building self-confidence while finding joy, grace and pure love for life as an inherent part of our true nature.
Unfolding, experiencing and living our authentic selves is what I am passionate about. I am highly skilled in guiding clients in accessing and exploring obstacles that are results of our deeply rooted beliefs. Unquestioned beliefs or limiting thoughts that can manifest as anxiety, depression or other psycho-emotional difficulties can actually be guiding lights on our journey to our true Selves. The essence of our being remains untouched as we grow and is waiting to be found and reconnected with. When you connect on a deeper level with your Self, your purpose, gifts, and talents show in their fullness and potentials show up.

I look at life as not a problem to be solved but as a journey full of mystery and meaning.
By understanding what lies deep within us, what motivates our behaviour, we come to know how to live more wisely and authentically. By giving ourselves the same kindness we give others and in listening to our embodied wisdom we discover fresh new possibilities.Therapy helps to manage anxiety, deal with emotions such as regret and shame, and dispel fear and worry. Without the veil of negativity and self-doubt we can make choices that lead to a more empowered future. If you find yourself feeling stuck, unhappy, confused or overwhelmed, entering into a psychotherapeutic relationship can help.

So often we want to feel better about ourselves and to enjoy our life more, but are not sure how to get there or we feel stuck. Life events and life transitions can be overwhelming and stressful, and it helps to have someone who will listen, provide compassion and support and suggest different coping strategies. The main focus in my practice is helping clients learn self-compassion and self-acceptance which I believe to be the foundation for change. My approach is gentle and supportive. I create a safe place for inner exploration, learning and healing.

I believe in an empathic, collaborative approach, so that you may always be part of the therapeutic process. Psychotherapy allows for a unique relationship, whereby the focus of attention is on understanding you. It provides an opportunity for openness, trust and honesty, often difficult in other interpersonal situations. It can help you to increase your resilience to life challenges and improve relationships. I use a range of therapy modalities according to the best fit for your needs and personality. Greater meaning in life can be achieved by longer term therapy, but also brief periods of therapy which are cumulative.

I help adults in their 20s-30s who want to feel happy again but are feeling stuck, lost, numb, or overwhelmed with life. My clients tell me that the pressure to choose the right degree, career, friends, or partner leads them to spiral into depression, anxiety, and other difficult feelings. They feel alone and misunderstood. They want to smile and feel like themself again, but don’t know how.

Even though you’ve set out on the path that you thought would lead to happiness, there still seems to be something missing. You thought you did everything right, but somehow, feel unfulfilled and frustrated, as you ask yourself, “Who am I?” or “What do I need?”. At home, with friends, or at work, you hold yourself back, believing that you don’t deserve to take up space. In your everyday life, you want to feel seen, heard, and understood, but don’t know where to turn. There’s a sense of disconnection keeping you from who you really are and how you’d like to show up in the world.

Therapy shouldn't feel like a chore. While it might sometimes be hard to hear what is discussed in therapy, overall you should leave feeling like you've gained something useful or even transformative. Over time, you should feel you are getting stronger, more resilient and have shed layers of fear and anxiety. Of course this process can be overwhelming at times and you might not always progress on the timeframe that you thought you would, but when therapy goes well, you should feel more settled and more clear about your life. You should gain understanding about yourself and others and have a renewed sense of purpose and passion
