Have you ever felt your mind tangled and chaotic? When emotions overwhelm, clear thinking becomes tough. I hope to create a warm and safe space with you collaboratively, where we can together be aware of and differentiate various emotions, untangle complexities in thoughts, and fulfill genuine needs. Emotions are like internal signals, attempting to engage in a healing dialogue with us. I specialized in intergenerational trauma, mother-daughter relationship, breakup, family-of-origin trauma, eating disorders, identity crisis, narcissistic abuse, anxiety, depression, peer relationships, self-esteem, grief, and loss.

I support clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, caregiver burnout and intergenerational trauma.
As a 1.5 gen Chinese Canadian, who grew up in an Asian immigrant family household, it has shaped and informed my life and practice in many ways. Therapy can be a transformative and empowering experience. I will work with you to develop a deep personal awareness and support you on the path toward healing, learning and growing. Finding a therapist that is a good fit for you is essential. We'll be a good fit if you are motivated, self-reflective and ready to tackle the daunting task of “figuring it all out.”

Some concerns that I address during counselling are: parenting challenges, grief, postpartum depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, self-esteem, attachment-bonding, and addressing familial and cultural expectations (namely for BIPOC individuals).
I support clients of all genders in individual counselling, and also offer relationship counselling for folks wanting support with relationship or parenting challenges. I want all parents to know that fluctuations in emotions, mood, and even patience don't make you a bad parent. Every situation can improve, little by little. This applies for relationships too: it's so common to struggle with things like communication, managing role transitions, intimacy, and dealing with stress and conflict. I am here to help you navigate all these ups and downs so that you can feel more connection, support, and fulfillment.

Together, we can navigate anxiety, relationships, grief, and loss in a safe, judgement-free space.
Sometimes in life, we can feel stuck and have a hard time seeing our way forward. A change in your life can leave you feeling hopeless, empty, confused, or lost. Ending a relationship, loosing a loved one, or finding yourself as a caregiver may throw you on a path that you didn’t expect and have a hard time navigating. Right now, you can't see your way forward, but you want to find a way through the weeds so you don't feel so bogged down and overwhelmed.
