Sometimes in life, we can feel stuck and have a hard time seeing our way forward. A change in your life can leave you feeling hopeless, empty, confused, or lost. Ending a relationship, loosing a loved one, or finding yourself as a caregiver may throw you on a path that you didn’t expect and have a hard time navigating. Right now, you can't see your way forward, but you want to find a way through the weeds so you don't feel so bogged down and overwhelmed.
Together, we can navigate anxiety, relationships, grief, and loss in a safe, judgement-free space. We can aim towards particular goals, explore feelings and thoughts, and work on self awareness in order to move you forward to a life of purpose and happiness.
In the context of a therapeutic relationship, we will work on helping you feel secure, capable, and content. I would be delighted to speak with you. Areas of specialty include life transitions (separation, divorce), grief and loss, anxiety, and care-giver support (parenting, caring for elderly parents, or partners with dementia, etc.).
