We all have our own histories and desires for our futures. At times these personal narratives can feel like a resource and at other times a hindrance. Sometimes we feel like we’re stuck or are moving backwards when we want to go forwards. How do we stay present in our day-to-day lives when we are visited by the voices of the past or images of the future? How do we find and listen to the voice of strength, wisdom and resiliency that lives in each one of us, when that voice seems to be silent? I don’t offer pat answers, but instead offer space and guidance to help you to deeply explore the issues and questions that want to explore.

Through deep listening, dream work, image-in-the-body work and analysis, I collaborate with my clients to grow more meaningfully connected to themselves and others. What is a meaningful life? Am I happy? These questions are at the centre of many of my clients’ lives. The question of one’s personal meaning has profound impacts on one’s life. It can be the source of depression, addiction, relationship problems, poor self-value, and feeling disconnected from the world around you, from spiritual life and from soul life. I have been practicing for 20 years as a Jungian psychoanalyst and psychotherapist.

We all face the challenge of creating something meaningful in our lives, through our work, and in our relationships. At each turn we are confronted with the need to change and grow, but often resistance and uncertainty arise within us. Psychotherapy that goes beneath the surface deepens how we relate to ourselves and others. This process moves toward new viewpoints and understandings, and helps us create new pathways through the circumstances that we've been given.

Life is a journey of constant change, filled with ups and downs. At times, it can feel unsettling and overwhelming. As we transition back to "normal" life after COVID, feelings of fear, anxiety, stress, anger, guilt and shame may be heightened. Are you lacking energy and motivation? Are you dealing self-doubt and finding it hard to make the right decisions? In your relationships, do you struggle to feel heard and understood? Feeling disconnected from your true self is a difficult reality to face, but know that there are solutions to every problem.

Maybe you’ve spent years being the one who pleases everyone, meeting every expectation at work, at home, in the family, while quietly carrying a lack of fulfillment and too much pressure. The sense that no matter how much you achieve, you can’t let go of what you’re carrying: your family’s expectations, the pressure to be good & experiences that were never spoken about, let alone healed. You’ve probably tried to manage it, staying busy, staying high-functioning, staying ahead. And still, something feels stuck. If that resonates, you’re not alone. And there is a way forward that leads to happiness.

Every individual I have the opportunity to meet carries with them a collection of unique experiences, thoughts, beliefs, values and goals. As humans, we all have periods in our lives when we think, “things are not how they should or ought to be” and this may lead us to a place where we may not be feeling like ourselves. I genuinely believe that you, as a client, are the expert at your own life, but sometimes, even experts can use a little fine tuning- this is one of the functions of therapy! I promise to provide you with the highest quality service that is tailored to your specific needs.

As a South Asian, first-generation immigrant therapist, I understand the weight of navigating two worlds- family expectations, cultural pressures, and the exhaustion of feeling like you must hold it all together. I work with adults from POC and immigrant communities who are experiencing burnout, stress, and relationship challenges rooted in intergenerational patterns. You may find yourself people-pleasing, struggling with boundaries, or feeling disconnected from who you truly are beyond what you were raised to be. If you've been searching for a therapist who genuinely understands your cultural context, you're in the right place.
