Your relationships can be an incredible source of pleasure and connection, AND they can be the biggest source of tension and exhaustion. You might feel rigid and uncreative, or be falling into people-pleasing habits. You may feel overwhelming physical sensations of constriction, pain or numbness. You play a vast range of roles in your friendships, romantic & intimate dynamics, and at work. This can be a lot to handle, and you may be masking your authentic self. Creative arts therapy can offer new ways to find playfulness so you can relax into intimacy in your relationships, your body, and fully own the stories that shape you.
With my clinical experience supporting LGBTQ+ folks, as well as my art and theatre background, I have developed an approach combining creativity, DBT & somatic techniques help you settle your nervous system so you can prioritize vitality and pleasure. We play with physical movement, metaphor and creative exercises (no art or performance experience needed).
My desire is to support you and your loved ones express what you can't say in words alone. We work and play together to grow your confidence, self-compassion, and communication skills. We collaborate to unfurl your capacity for curiosity and pleasure. If you're ready for a new approach, I'd be delighted to meet you. Click to book a free consult with me.

Somatic Art Therapy for Relational Embodiment
a somatically-rooted creative arts group therapy series centred on relational embodiment. Blending somatic, art, drama, and sex therapy techniques, this group facilitates the exploration of our visceral responses to various topics, including sexuality, relationships, consent, intimacy, somatic flirting, and unpacking taboo. We name the oppressive institutions and internalized systems that impact authentic access to our own bodies and relational styles. By the final session, you will have gained a deeper awareness and vocabulary for your desires and sexuality, tools for somatic communication with dates and partners, and more. Starting late Spring 2025. Waitlist open now!
