I specialize in individual therapy with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and addiction. I work from a psychodynamic perspective in therapy which means that I am interested in unconscious motivations that could be contributing to dissatisfaction in life. I take great interest in dreams and recurring fantasies and see them as useful in therapy if the client ever wants to process them.

My approach to counseling is to meet you where you are at and to understand your story to get you where you want to be. Together we will understand your inner wants and needs to form an authentic and genuine self.

Hello, I’m Mark Chapman and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have worked in the mental health and substance abuse field for 30 years. During that time I have addressed some of the most complex cases of trauma and co-occurring mental health issues. I address trauma with Active Duty Military and Veterans, First Responders, Victims of Narcissistic Abuse, Sexual, Medical, Childhood, and Cumulative trauma to name a few.

Huston is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S). He uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and other proven methods of counseling. Having a Christ-centered focus is paramount to his counseling. He earned is supervisor status as he enjoyed supervising PLC interns, sharing the twenty plus years of experience with counselors starting their journey into the profession. He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a well-known treatment for trauma. He is a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT) and certification as a certified multiple addiction therapist (CMAT).
