In my experience, I have learned that life will inevitably bring changes. Some of which are hard to cope with and endure. These times for many produce stress, anger, anxiety depression, and other mood disorders. I utilize evidence-based practices such as ad CBT and REBT to assist my clients in navigating through and overcoming these times.

Life is full of difficult moments made especially challenging when we are in them alone. My first priority as a counselor is to meet my clients where they are; to be with them in their hardship and pain. My passion is helping people build healthy and meaningful lives. I am a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist trained by Dr. Patrick Carnes, the pioneer in the field of sex addiction. I have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with all forms of addictions and compulsive behaviors including: sex, pornography, drugs, alcohol, food, work, spending, codependent relationships, etc. I use Attachment-Focused EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Lifespan Integration to help people become free from underlying relational/attachment wounds.

Since 1970 I have walked with many persons, couples and families who need supportive, fresh ears and eyes, a compassionate heart, wise experience and holistic perspective regarding life's challenges, transitions, burdens, growth points and life choices. I learn each one's story is unique and may offer the opportunity for new meaning and purpose.
