My first priority as a counselor is to meet my clients where they are; to be with them in their hardship and pain. I specialize in working with adults and adolescents/teens struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship issues, etc. I have a passion for helping those who have encountered religious trauma (especially LGBTQ+) and family-related trauma. I also enjoy seeing couples and can provide Christian-based counseling for clients that want that.
I mostly use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) but cater my approach to clients' specific needs. Finding the right fit in counseling is important.
