I have dedicated my life to helping people, children and adults, go through their LIFE's ups and downs without being drowned and getting to a place of acceptance and satisfaction.

I love working closely with my clients to help them reach their goals. Whether because of depression, anxiety, trauma, or behavioral problems, I provide my clients with tools they can use in order to feel confident and to stand on their own. I have experience working with children/adolescents and their families; however, I also enjoy working with adults.

Change is possible... I believe a strong and trusting client-therapist relationship is the key to successful therapy. My Client's tell me I an non-judgmental, trustworthy and have helped them tremendously. I work hard to create a safe and nurturing environment for each and every one of my clients. With over 18 years of experience, I am comfortable working with a wide variety of individuals and problems including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress management, grief and trauma. I employ a variety of interventions to aid my clients in developing mindfulness, tolerance, emotions regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.

Here at Overcross Counseling and Equine Services LLC we work with clients with varying reasons for wanting to participate in counseling. We use our horse as co-facilitators to help engage our clients during the sessions. We provide learning appropriates for each learning style our clients may have as they work through and develop skills to help them reach their therapeutic goals. We want our clients to have a different approach to counseling as they find hope and watch themselves crossover into a pathway of happiness.

The struggles of daily life can be overwhelming. When our most intimate relationships are struggling it can feel that we have no shelter from the storm. People and relationships need that security in order to become their most fulfilled.

I have provided counseling services to a broad spectrum of clients including children, adolescents, and Adults. I strive to help my clients solve their day to day stressors and achieve stability in their lives. My style is warm, flexible, and interactive. I usually use a variety of counseling modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, play and different forms of art based therapy, family systems therapy etc to suit the unique nature of the problem being worked on and the needs of specific clients.

Most people just want to be heard. They want to know that someone is listening to them and someone cares. Further, most of us contain the answers to our questions. We simply need someone to support us and remind us of our great worth and value. Within this environment of support we are able to discover within ourselves what we have been lacking, where we are in need and what will improve our lives. You are capable, you can do this!
