Although I enjoy working with people of all ages, I especially delight in working with adolescents and adults. When working in school-based settings, I utilize a team approach with school personnel and work closely with parents and staff to ensure that students' needs are met.

Kim has over fifteen years of experience providing individual counseling to all age groups experiencing mental health issues. She graduated from SNU with a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy in 2009. She has extensive experience working as an outpatient therapist in the private practice and community mental health settings in the Tulsa area. She also worked at Laureate Intensive Outpatient Program in the past as an on-call therapist facilitating groups in the mental health programs.

My interest and passion is in working with children with developmental disabilities and delays. I feel strongly about children being given the tools and the voice to develop their own self-determination, independence and fulfillment as they grow into adulthood.

As a therapist I focus mainly on marriage and couples counseling. I enjoy helping couples improve communication, increase conflict resolution and deepen their connection. I aim to provide a safe and confidential place to unpack struggles and give specific strategies and tools for improving the lives and relationships of my clients. I have seen first had the effectiveness of counseling and believe it is a great avenue where healthy changes can be made. I am a level 3 trained Gottman Method therapist, which is a evidence based, research oriented approach to couples work.

I enjoy working with clients who are seeking ways to remove any and all barriers that are keeping them from experiencing life on their terms. Anxiety, Depression, Religious Abuse, Life Transitions (College, Post-College, Mid-Life, and Retirement), Veterans issues, Death and Dying, Personality Disorders, Grief, and Pornography addiction are all areas I enjoy working with clients to address. I have always been a curious person and that has enabled me to compile a diverse array of life experiences and that allows me to work with a wide range of clients.
