Struggling is a normal part of the human experience. Whether struggle comes from internal conflict or external circumstances, it will often lead us to a sense of “feeling stuck” and hopeless. My goal is to provide evidence-based treatment to help others find emotional freedom even through life’s struggles. Treatment should be collaborative, personalized, and practical.

Life is complicated, relationships are hard, and families can be downright mind boggling. It's no wonder many live with anxiety, stress, or worry that feels overwhelming. Many might have difficulty handling life transitions, relationship issues, communication challenges or boundary setting. If you have experienced trauma in your childhood or past, it's time to talk about it with someone who can help you navigate the path to healing.

Engaging in therapy takes strength, and courage, and you are brave to be taking that first step! My approach to working with my clients is that they are the experts of their own life. You have the deepest knowledge and years of experience with yourself! This is invaluable to our work together. I bring my own area of expertise to the table, including compassion, an ear to listen and understanding, and various therapy techniques that are not tools to "fix" but rather act as catalysts for deeper understanding, regulation, and exploration.

I have 1 opening for an adult... I work with adults who come to therapy for parenting concerns, attachment or relationship issues, anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD and/or Autism, adjustment issues and life transitions (divorce, separation, loss, work stressors, etc.), or issues related to family of origin. I also work with new and expecting parents and infants and children 0-6. My favorite clients are overwhelmed, stressed, driven, worried they are doing life wrong, feeling like an imposter, and trying to figure out how everyone else keeps up. If you consider yourself a highly sensitive person, you've come to the right place.

Welcome - I’m glad you’re here :) Resilience—the strength to recover and grow through life’s challenges—often begins with kindness and self-compassion. When we experience trauma, anxiety, depression, or disconnection, it can be hard to hold onto that compassion for ourselves or others. We want to feel better, live fully, and move forward—but stress and adversity can create barriers that feel difficult to overcome. As Maya Angelou said, “I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it.”

Life is hard but you don’t have to handle it alone. We were created to be in community with one another, helping and being helped. My goal is to help each client bear their burden and offer hope. I start with listening to their story and sorting through the issues. Once we find the common thread, we start reweaving their narrative to create the story they want and then proceed to use evidence-based therapies to help that story become a reality. I work with ages 14 and up. I have experience treating those suffering from anxiety, depression, grief and trauma.

Feeling Broken? Taking the first step into a better life can be tough, and I get how overwhelming it feels. Starting therapy takes courage. I’ve been there, having struggled with anxiety and depression, coping in ways that hurt my relationships and left me isolated. I often felt aimless and mostly used gaming and other time killers as an escape, though they usually helped very little. These experiences shaped my understanding of life’s pressures and inspired me to become a therapist. I’m here to help you work through your struggles. Let’s take that first step together—reach out to get started whenever you're ready. I've got you! :)

Most everyone experiences trauma during their lifetime. Trauma can include death/illness of a loved one, physical, sexual or emotional abuse, domestic violence, bullying, divorce and/or other devastating events. Now, with COVID 19, our world is enduring primary, secondary and even tertiary trauma. If left unresolved, trauma can manifest into depression, anxiety, anger, difficulty in social relationships, obsessions, compulsions and difficulty focusing at school or work. I have the skills to help process through these issues; both individually and within the family. I enjoy supporting others as they discover their own resiliency.
