If these past few years have taught us anything, it’s that life can happen in an instant and really shake some shit up! It feels like a constant reality now—watching your dreams, expectations, and plans change or even be eliminated without your permission.

Hi! It's just Jamie. I have been in the social service field since 1999 where I started as a case manager and worked my way up to where I am today. I do not feel like there is a population I have not worked with over the years. I am a mom first but my husband at times has said I am married to my work. I am very laid back but will advocate for my clients as no other. Some of my former clients refer to me as a pit bull when it comes to them getting what they need to be successful, I am a advocate by nature. My hobbies include trips to the ocean, riding on the back of the motorcycle, writing and star gazing with my kiddos.

Accepting New Clients - Responds within 12 hours. Life has ups and downs. Depression, anxiety, and grief are among the most common reasons people seek a counselor. There is good reason for optimism - for many, these challenges are temporary. Significant life event can cause upsets and create hardships adjusting. You are certainly not alone. Small steps can lead to big differences in lives. Goals should be reasonable and not overwhelming, accomplished at the client's pace. I recognize the impact that a person's culture, values, and faith can have in the healing process. Currently training in EMDR.

You're Not Alone. You may long for something more but feel unsure how to get there. Caught between who you are and who you hope to become, you want to better understand yourself, recognize patterns in your relationships, and move toward a life that feels meaningful and whole.
Many of the people I work with deeply desire meaningful connection, balance, and freedom. They want to understand themselves more fully—why they think, feel, and relate the way they do—and are open to learning, growing, and seeing their story from a new perspective.
