If you need a safe space to talk through daily stressors, or you are looking for someone to partner with you as you dig deeper into that past trauma, I am here for you. I believe that therapy is a place for building connection, and that our connections and relationships are our biggest assets. While there is no magic trick or secret solution to solve all of our challenges, there is value in building a trusting relationship and having a space to share your thoughts, feelings, and fears where you can be met with compassion, empathy, and patience. I am honored to create that space for you to tell your story.

Healing isn't always linear. Sometimes we think we've conquered the hardest parts of our lives only to find we have much to learn and a long way to go. One of the biggest things I've learned is that mistakes are proof that you are trying. So advocate for yourself and don't be afraid to ask for help, these are important steps that showcase your strength and willingness to heal.

Hi there, welcome to my profile! I have been working with adults with mental health and substance abuse issues for nearly 5 years. Prior to this, I served as a counselor to children with developmental disabilities and their families. My approach with clients is very empathetic and client centered. I think of myself as a guide who provides a safe and affirmative space for people to explore feelings and thoughts they might otherwise not reveal or share with others. In this way, I believe that the client-therapist relationship can create a launching point to help clients create the changes they want in their lives.
