Dr. Robert Storey obtained his B.A. in Liberal Arts at Washington and Lee University as a Philosophy major, minoring in Sociology. He obtained a Masters in Guidance and Psychological Services at Springfield College and was awarded his Doctorate in Educational Psychology ( Ed.D) while studying at American International University. He began his clinical internship in 1986 under the auspices of distinguished Dr. Frank Sacco, a protege of Karl Menninger with tutelage by Anna Freud. Dr. Sacco came from a long lineage of psychodynamic pioneers and Dr. Storey was privileged to be part of this tradition of groundbreaking psychologists.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst with over twenty-five years of work experience. I am Associate Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at the University of Hawaii Medical School. I am licensed in Hawaii and New York and located in downtown Honolulu. I am one of only two practicing psychoanalysts in Hawaii trained at an institute approved by the American Psychoanalytic Association. I specialize in psychodynamic therapy and psychoanalysis, which are intensive treatments which help people understand themselves at a deeper level. Hello, I am Paul Grabowsky, a licensed mental health counselor, at LMHC and a licensed teacher in Hawai’i, and a licensed professional clinical counselor in New Mexico. I am a person-centered counselor, trained in a variety of modalities, including EMDR. I enjoy working with people of all ages and incorporate my training in biology and the connection to mind/body in my approach to therapy. As a former educator, I have worked with adolescents age for many years. I like to incorporate a person-centered approach and cognitive/behavioral therapy with an emphasis on how the vagal system can impact the health of the body and mind.
