Aloha! My name is Roger Kaina Watson(He/Him/His) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW) located in Hawaii on the island of Oahu and working with individuals statewide through telehealth. My overall approach to therapy is Client-centered, strength based and focused on the needs of the clients. My clientele will focus on those who have difficulty with, anxiety, behavior, relationships, transitioning among other mental health and life challenges. I have experience providing services for children, teens, LGBTQIA, and Adults.
My approach to therapy will vary based on the needs of the client, so because of that, I will utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities along with cultural components to have positive mental health outcomes. Overall, I will start where the client is where we can build a plan and set goals together to achieve the outcomes the client is satisfied with.
I create a warm, calm and positive environment with people. I ensure trust, confidentiality and honesty to build great rapport. Lastly, my compassion and empathy for my clients ultimately create a willingness to be comfortable to open up and share.
