I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling at Southwestern Adventist University while working at the local mental health authority Pecan Valley Centers in Cleburne, TX. I worked as a case manager, LPC-Intern, and an on-call crisis responder. I was trained using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) among many other trainings. I worked at The Johnson County Children's Advocacy Center as a counselor where I was fully trained in Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT) and Play Therapy. At the advocacy center I worked primarily with youths who suffer from trauma.

Therapy gives us an opportunity to look at the problem areas in our lives in a safe and non-judgmental environment so that we can find ways to make the changes we desire. As a licensed professional counselor with years of experience working with individuals, couples and families, Dr. Milson helps manage the feelings associated with life's struggles; recognize, understand, and change self-defeating patterns; heal past pain; discover and foster inner strength; and learn new ways to cope that allow a person to live authentically.

Dr. Cardona Mitchell is a licensed professional counselor in Texas with over 6 years of professional work experience. Dr. Mitchell takes great pride in her counseling practice. She holds a doctorate in education, a master's in clinical mental health counseling, and is a board-certified counselor.
