My client population includes children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals as well as families. I facilitate numerous groups and skills training curriculum in various topics including adolescent first offenders, anger management, divorce and separation, parenting, and teen issues.

I work with individuals, couples, and families in helping them achieve control over "emotional hijacking" and poor decision making. Feelings like fear, sorrow, anger, rejection prevent people from experiencing connectedness with life and with others. Therefore, the ideal client is one who is struggling with relationship problems, anger, addictions (sexual or chemical), poor stress control, depression, or anxiety-I provide a safe environment where the individual's pain and/or struggle is met with understanding alongside a plan of action to address the issue(s).

Experiential and somatic techniques allow clients to move deeply rooted blocks that often reside underneath conscious thought. I use gestalt, solution-focused, and ACT approaches to aid clients in gaining awareness of stuck patterns, feelings, and thoughts which hold them back from healthfully and intentionally meeting the challenges they face.

My only concern is you. My non-judging and calm presence are referred to as unconditional positive regard, where I provide a safe environment to unpack issues in a manner that brings about true change. I work with a wide range of individuals dealing with everything from depression and substance issues to domestic violence, PTSD, body dysmorphia, adjustment disorders, addiction, ADHD, bi-polar, grief, anxiety, and depression. I focus on CBT, existential, and person-centered modalities to enable progress towards a healthier mental state.

Focusing on what we can control (instead of what is beyond our control) is often a key element to working through difficult life circumstances. While talking about past experiences may be an important part of our work, growth manifests through present integration. My clients come from many situations. Mostly they come to me with brokenness, some are addicted to drugs, alcohol and/or sex. Some struggle inside their marriages. Others arrive with deep longings to be of value or feel worthy. I see a large number of men with sexual addiction. I see wives that feel traumatized and betrayed. Often people arrive in my office in a crisis. Most couples I see are in some form of a conflict cycle; they each have hurt feelings and cannot seem to get unstuck from the cycle. As I also conduct psychological assessments, some clients come to me to to be tested for various reasons, such as legal issues
