Using a holistic approach to healing, I've been providing counseling services for over 11 years. I specialize in working with survivors of complex traumas such as sexual abuse, human trafficking and domestic violence, or one-time incidents such as a car accident or sudden loss. I am certified in EMDR and trained in Brainspotting, and I incorporate IFS and other modalities. I'm happy to announce that I am now offering neurofeedback sessions as well, using the Neuroptimal system, in combination with EMDR or as a separate service.

Since I was first licensed in 1991, I have worked with a wide range of clients, in a variety of setting. My passion is helping people overcome trauma. I specialize in working with children who have experienced sexual abuse. I work with children as young as 3, through adulthood. I believe we all have the capacity to overcome and grow, given the opportunity and resources to do so.

Alicia Linquist, LISW-S, is a fully licensed therapist in Ohio (Office) and Massachusetts (Virtual) . She is an EMDRIA certified EMDR Therapist and Approved Consultant. EMDR Therapy is a highly effective and evidence based approach that helps individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences and reduce distressing symptoms. Through EMDR individuals may gradually wok towards resolving the negative beliefs and emotions connected to trauma or adverse life experiences, and aims to develop more positive and adaptive thoughts and feelings. Alicia is dedicated to helping individuals heal from trauma, navigate grief, and depression.
