I enjoy working with clients ages 13+ struggling with: sexual abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, partner/spouse issues, PCOS/hormone issues, transgender concerns in youth & adults, & the LGBTQIA+ community. I integrate humor & compassion, along with evidence based practices to help clients work towards their goals. I received my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Akron & am a licensed clinical counselor with supervisor designation with 9 years of experience. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I have experience with narrative therapy, CBT, DBT, Gestalt, mindfulness, LGBTQIA+, & more.
My passion is for building strong relationships with clients that is rooted in acceptance & respect. I will tailor your counseling experience to your specific needs in a way that is therapeutic, but also makes sense in your life.
