She arrived in Idaho in 1990 after living across the U.S. She received her Master's degree from ISU at a later age after teaching high school Language-Arts in Florida and marketing float plane and helicopter rides in Alaska. Her experience includes ten years of worldwide counseling with all branches of military, inpatient residential leadership and outpatient private adults, couples, and groups. Her experience includes mood disorders, relationships and career counseling. She is a world traveler, former multi-marathon runner and compassionate listener.

I have had many professional lives, but the thread between all of them has been a desire to help people. Like so many, I found myself impacted by a corporate layoff in February 2023. Although a difficult experience, it has been the inspiration for me to re-focus on what I am truly passionate about. In September 2023, I opened my own Intuitive Living Therapy practice to help people reduce suffering in their lives. I believe that through intuitive living we all have the ability celebrate our authentic selves. I want to teach you how to trust yourself, so you stop letting the world tell you your story.

As a licensed professional counselor, I find counseling to be an invitation to listen and empathize to what is going on in your heart, your head, and your world. When these don’t align, there is an incongruence that rattles our inner world. My desire is to assist adults, adolescents and children 6 and older, to find peace. I enjoy all ages because of my work with children & adults for 15 years. I served 10 years as a Children’s Pastor, and I continue to believe that every age is important. Mid-life transitions for business owners can be business changes, divorce/potential divorce, buying/selling, starting new, career changes, aging parents, grief/loss or any relationship issues causing stress. Zach is experienced supporting teens, young adults and men using strength-based approaches to help address stress and adversity, including neurodiversity and trauma. He specializes in clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis on acceptance and mindfulness informed therapies which includes somatic techniques which reengages one's relationship between body and mind. He is currently EMDR In Training. He is currently a Counselor Intern completing his Master of Counseling education through Northwest Nazarene University.
