My goal for the therapeutic relationship is to provide you with the awareness and skills you will need to achieve the level of functioning you desire. I believe my job as your therapist is to work myself out of a job - by teaching you what I know, helping you apply it, assessing the results and adjusting where necessary.
I recognize that seeing a therapist initially can be intimidating and I strive to create an accepting, open environment for you to grow. Often, that can mean being creative in how we use our therapy time. I will also work closely with other providers you may have to ensure proper functioning for all aspects of your life.
