Hi! I am Dr. Malissa Collins, a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Georgia specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I have experience working with individuals from various backgrounds, families, and couples. My Ph.D. is in Marriage and Family Therapy. My approach is warm and compassionate. My focus is to meet clients where they are and teach them ways to successfully navigate through life to meet goals. My clients appreciate my warmth, nonjudgmental style. She is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Areas of expertise include but are not limited to children and adolescents, couples, anxiety and trauma. Twilynn has over 20 years experience working in the Human Services Industry. She provides individual, couple, and family therapy in a private practice setting. She specializes in working with those who suffer from depression, have experienced trauma and abuse, experience anxiety and stress, have communication challenges within their family system, and/or have difficulty in making life transitions. She has extensive experience working with adolescents addressing, self-esteem issues, teaching decision-making and problem solving skills, and working through school related issues. Twilynn also has extensive experience working with the LGBT community.
