I am licensed in California, Tennessee, Oregon, and Colorado. I specialize in treating trauma and PTSD. I have helped clients improve anxiety levels, self esteem, depression, relational issues, phobias, lack of a sense of life direction, sleep, greater self awareness, and more. Through teaching skills such as noticing and being with sensations, feelings, and thoughts, clients can access deeper parts of themselves. Through doing IFS and EMDR, clients get to the root of the issue, look at things in new ways, and heal the trauma that is stored in the body (by feeling it safety, with my guidance and training) rather than avoiding it.
I use EMDR, IFS, MBCT, CBT, and ACT. I have been practicing mindfulness for 25 years, I completed many intensive mindfulness courses in Nepal, India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and USA during the seven years I spent traveling abroad before becoming a therapist.
