Santiago Delboy, MBA, LCSW, is a psychodynamic psychotherapist in private practice and a clinical supervisor in Chicago. He works mostly with adults who experience relational trauma and attachment issues, helping them make sense, understand, and work through the impact of complex trauma on their interpersonal relationships and their sense of self. His approach is informed by psychoanalytic, relational, attachment, and trauma perspectives. He has provided clinical supervision independently and as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis, Faculty at the Institute for Clinical Social Work, and Reflective Practice Supervisor at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. Prior to becoming a clinician, he spent over a decade working in consumer insights and marketing consulting in Peru, his home country, and the U.S. Santiago earned a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin, and holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. His publications include essays in Psychoanalytic Dialogues, Psychoanalytic Inquiry, Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity, and Revista de la Sociedad Peruana de Psicoanálisis.
