I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider, and can help with a variety of issues including, but not limited to: Trauma, Adolescents, Adjustment issues, relational/familial problems, and stress.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) practicing for the past 7 years in the Richmond and Hampton Roads area. Previously, I worked as a school counselor in VA, NC and GA helping youth from 10 to 18 years old reach their full potential. Juan O. Turón is a native of Azul, Argentina and resides in the United States since 1998. Mr. Turón has a Bachelors of Arts degree in General Psychology, a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Certificate of Participation in anthropology courses from the University of Cambridge International Summer School from 2005. Mr. Turón is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and approved Marriage and Family Therapy Supervisor through the Virginia Board of Counseling. Mr. Turón is currently finishing his doctoral studies Marriage and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University.

Charles "Chad" Hatchel is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 7 years of experience in the mental health field. Chad specializes in working with clients who are experiencing depression and anxiety. He also works with couples who are having problems communicating with one another. His professional experience includes group and individual therapy, working with individuals ranging from ages 4 and up. Chad completed his Bachelor of Science (BS) at Virginia Tech and his Master of Arts (MA) in Professional Counseling at Liberty University.

We all face difficult times in our lives which lead us to seek help. Psychotherapy helps you become more resilient, find inner strength and improve your sense of self – all of which aid you in your quest to live a more open, genuine, and fulfilling life. Together we examine areas of struggle and work to identify new ways of being more engaged and effective in relationships and at peace with ourselves. I will work with you in treatment modalities ranging from short-term brief, CBT, to longer-term analytic work. I have experience treating a wide range of difficulties including depression, anxiety and trauma.

You’re a Veteran struggling to come back to the “Real World”, and every day and night are a battle with PTSD symptoms. You may be a parent that is at the “end of your rope” with a child with Autism, ADHD, or significant depression and is exhibiting negative behaviors in the home and at school. You may need help in processing loss, divorce, and retirement.

I began my journey as a counselor, 10 years ago beginning by volunteering with LGBTQIA-affirming crisis hotlines in the Southeast and creating LGBTQIA+ safe spaces on college campuses. I have worked in multiple areas of mental health including intensive outpatient, outpatient, residential and crisis work and with multiple mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, eating disorders, probation parole, family, and couple’s therapy. While my work has focused primarily on the LGBTQIA community and BIPOC community, I find joy and purpose working with many cultures, faith backgrounds and communities. I

Every person has a different way to achieve fulfillment, and we all have in common the challenges that life brings us in the road.
