I have been working with individuals, couples, families, and children for over 20 years. I primarily use a collaborative, strength-based approach to individual, family and couples' therapy, play therapy with children, and when working with diverse populations. I believe that the majority of people have an internal desire and wisdom that directs them toward healing and changing for the better. Similar to our bodies, the brain naturally knows how to heal given the right conditions. I believe that my role as a therapist is to help people tap into the resiliency of the human spirit.

I work with clients and their partners and family members to heal from difficult past experiences and current conflicts toward brighter futures, stronger relationships, and a more secure sense of self.

I am accepting new clients and offer Online Counseling via Telehealth. I've provided over 10,000 hours of therapy and like Confucius said, "Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life." I managed LDS Family Services for 13 years and loved directing the 12-step Addiction Recovery Program in Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania. I've been recruited by multiple residential treatment centers, a hospital, a skilled nursing facility, and by an IOP program assessing and treating substance abuse and domestic violence.

I hope to establish a therapeutic team with you. I have experience helping clients experiencing the aftermath of unresolved adverse childhood experiences, post-traumatic stress, complex PTSD, intergenerational trauma, survivors of intimate partner violence, and other forms of abuse. I also work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, attachment ruptures, life transitions, family dynamics, inter and intrapersonal conflict, and ADHD. I am a native Spanish speaker and conduct therapy in English and Spanish. I also understand in-depth the different subcultures and the challenges between generations within the Latino community.

He has specialization in clinical psychology, children and adolescents, substance, Couples and Families, Depression and Anxiety, Behavioral issues, Addiction, trauma, outdoor recreation, and mental health counseling. As a mental health counselor, it has always been my privilege to work alongside clients on their personal journeys. Each individual has such a personal experience in which their life has been based. I believe in meeting clients where they are at, working toward personal goals, and ultimately developing a life in which they feel they can thrive.

I come from a multi-cultural family with an immigrant parent which has both enriched my life and created unique struggles for me. My goals are to support my clients as they navigate their struggles and find hope and strength within themselves.

I feel very fortunate to have spent several decades helping adults and adolescents struggling with their mental health. This has included addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, abuse, grief and loss, attachment, residential treatment, living with physical disabilites and children/families impacted by international/domestic adoption.

I work with young adults, families, and couples helping them to shed light on themselves and the systems of which they are a part. I have worked predominately with clients experiencing symptoms of PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar, addictive disorders, and personality disorders. I have a background in wilderness therapy and experiential treatment and love to introduce creative, alternative modes of expression to my clients, including yoga movement, narrative, and outdoor based therapies (walk and talk). By the end of our first session, most of my clients feel relieved and hopeful for their next steps.
