I specialize in marriage, trauma, and addiction counseling. I help couples with communication, conflict resolution, building trust, intimacy, and emotional connection. I am also trained specifically to help couples where trauma or betrayal has occurred in the relationship or in their past and how that affects marriages. I help with past trauma by processing in a SAFE environment, achieve emotional healing, coping strategies, and reduce symptoms. This can improve everyday functioning and prevent re-traumatization. I am trained to help clients take steps to achieve life long sobriety through honesty, support, and understanding.

I assist clients dealing with addiction and the related co-occurring issues (anxiety, depression, anger, ADHD/ADD, stress, bipolar, schizo-affective, schizophrenic, etc.). All of my clients have experienced some type of trauma, PTSD, childhood emotional neglect, intergenerational family issues, spiritual emergency / psychosis, etc., and addiction has been the result. Clients who have been impacted are in my estimation actually highly sensitive people and highly spiritual people. I now offer an 11-Session Emotional Integration Training program that teaches you to manage your emotions in a skillful way putting the tools in your hands.

My client population includes children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals as well as families. I facilitate numerous groups and skills training curriculum in various topics including adolescent first offenders, anger management, divorce and separation, parenting, and teen issues.

With leaders and organizations, I use a dynamic set of processes that help to transform conflict and develop emotional intelligence and authenticity. I also am a licensed LPC supervisor and train facilitators to use these techniques with their clients.

My client population includes, individuals seeking life balance, establishing a recovery network for long-term sobriety from addiction, including alcohol and mood altering substances. I offer services to teens and young adults transitioning to college, and career development. I will address anxiety and depression through the session as it relates to these transitions. I like to focus on the solutions, and less on the problems with individuals and families.
