Hannah understands that people have different experiences that shape who they become in their lives, while these experiences are the results of some choices made, many of them may be from patterns that have been passed down generationally that they may not have control over. Hannah understands that people may not know how to change their lives if they are functioning under the way they have always been taught; recognizing these patterns of behavior can take courage and that learning what is in their control and what is out of their control can help them see what they want to be different.

We have two counselors & two mental health coaches in our practice to meet your unique needs. Germanie, Julie, Jason & I stand ready to come alongside you and work ourselves out of a job. Ideal clients want to improve their relationships & are willing to take personal responsibility for their part in making it happen. They don't come in looking for us to 'fix' the other person, but come in seeking help from a wise partner to help improve themselves & their relationship. I practice positive psychology, which will give my clients a whole new way of looking at their lives, even though the world may not be the most positive place they see. My clients will be introduced to skills that will help them move forward in a life they thought they were "stuck" in. I help my clients see their strengths as their motivators for life's uneasy situations. I am a counselor that is a Christian, and can assist those clients that use faith as a basis for handling life's obstacles.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who holds a Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Houston and a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Sam Houston State University. I am supervised by Rebecca Smith, LPC - Supervisor in Montgomery County. I utilize a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, and various other modalities to customize a treatment plan for each client.

Life brings us many challenges, and often times we feel depressed, angry, bitter, confused or even anxious. The beauty of life is that it gives an opportunity to review, reflect and reform our own stories so we can keep pushing through our adversities. Hello and thank you for the opportunity to learn about me. I have had the honor to work with people who are learning how to adjust in their present life and heal from past and current trauma. Making the decision to take the first step towards change is often scary and intimidating, but it's ok! Everyone has overcome obstacles in life and many haven't realized they've done so, overseeing their own strengths and abilities. I am also fully bilingual and have enjoyed working with the Latin/Hispanic community.

I specialize in supporting healthcare professionals, nurses, teachers and students with anxiety or depression who are struggling in their career, education or relationships. Many feel stuck, burnt out, angry, and overwhelmed. The chronic stress and compassion fatigue make it hard for them to empathize with patients, students and administrators. Some may prefer to be alone, even though it leads to ruminating over traumatic work experiences and substance use. My clients have demanding jobs, are highly trained and accustomed to solving problems. However, no one is immune to the long-term effects of stress and trauma.
