Hi my name is Theresa Beasley, LISW-S, and I’ve been in the mental health and counseling field for 10 years. I see what I do for a living as one of the greatest privileges of my life, and practice gratitude for it every day. My ideal clients are young adults navigating life adjustments, coping with depression, anxiety, relationship issues and stress. When I entered the counseling profession over twenty-five years ago, my desire was to help people adjust to some of life's challenges and setbacks, while finding meaning and purpose. The therapeutic relationship is a safe venue in which one’s goals, whether life coaching, healing and recovery, improving relationships, or enhancing life satisfaction can be realized. My excitement for assisting people to develop meaningful goals for fulfillment in their life situation remains a passion. As a licensed independent social worker, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals in all stages of life. My area of focus has primarily been working with survivors of trauma, significant loss, and/or those struggling with mental illness and addiction.

Building a trusting, collaborative relationship is at the forefront of my work, though I’m aware this looks differently with each of my clients. I see the process of change as occurring in the context of relationships and through exploration of patterns that may be preventing one from living a fulfilling life. Through the discovery of these patterns, we can begin to understand how to live life more genuinely. I am a relational and psychodynamic therapist who incorporates various therapeutic approaches and interventions, including cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness techniques.

I enjoy working with people who have found it hard to be understood by others. Many people I've worked with are affected by poverty, discrimination, trauma, and mood or emotional difficulties.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 20 years of experience. I have worked extensively with those suffering from PTSD, especially women who are survivors of sexual and physical violence, depression, anxiety, grief, self esteem, and those struggling with interpersonal relationship issues and healthy boundaries. I engage collaboratively with individuals to explore their lives, and provide support to to make desired changes towards living a more meaningful life. Mindfulness skills are developed and practiced to manage distress in a more accepting manner in order to improve quality of functioning.

Summer Gonzalez is an LPC, who has been practicing since 2016. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a Masters of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Summer believes in taking a nurturing, collaborative approach in working with individuals and couples to provide a safe and empathic atmosphere where they can find their strengths, learn healthy coping skills, and heal through counseling and personal growth. Her main areas of focus include adults struggling with Adjustment issues, Anxiety/Depression, and Post-traumatic stress disorder for both general and military trauma.

My name is Kristen Gidel Kelly and I am the Owner and Lead Counselor of Imagine Recovery Counseling in Gahanna, OH. Trauma Recovery work to me is healing from ALL types of trauma that result from mental health or substance use disorders. I became a Chemical Dependency Counselor in 2008 because I have lived experience of the impact of substance use disorders. I became an EMDR therapist in 2016 because I realized that most people who use substances have trauma. I wanted to help people heal and recover, not just repeat the pattern of relapse behavior.
