Most people are doing the best they can in life with the skills they have available. When life becomes overwhelming, unbearable, or unfulfilling, counseling can help you find & experience the joy & love you desire - even in the face of adversity. Counseling can be helpful when you are ready to make changes in your life and when you desire someone to journey with you to realize your best self. In our work together, we will collaborate to set goals that you want to achieve. For some, this may be a change in how you are thinking and feeling. For others, you might be ready to work to find deeper healing through processing your trauma.

We continue to grow in staff and services. Life is full of adventures that affect every experience we encounter. We now have four License Staff, One Master's Level Counselor, One Qualified Mental Health Professionals, a Counselors in Training, a Professional Visitation Supervisor Monitor, and a Life Coach. Throughout my career as a therapist, I've worked with children, couples, adolescents and adults with eating disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD/complex trauma, addictions, relational concerns and family conflict.

"It's okay not to be okay!" Sometimes all you need is to give yourself permission to not be okay. There are moments in our lives when facing issues alone is not enough and it becomes difficult to navigate life's circumstances. That's where I step in. If you are suffering from trauma, grief, life stressors, relationship conflict, depression, or anxiety, I work with you at your point of need.

Sometimes we move into a season of life where we realize something needs to change. We don’t always know what that change is, but we sense that without it, we may not be able to move forward. Therapy is the exploration and healing of that season of life. We have a tendency to repeat old patterns that don’t get us to our goal, but struggle to come up with a different path. This doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you. In fact, it means that a part of you believes deeply that the way you’re doing things is helpful, even though the end result doesn’t seem so wonderful! Scheduling New Clients! Do you feel anxiety about a current life transition? Is a past trauma holding you back in life? It's common to experience grief about the loss of someone or an idea of how you thought life would be. Individuals and couples can enhance the quality of their relationships and gain a better understand of others by attending therapy. I will sit with you and accept you as you are, while we work together on creating a plan of action to break out of patterns that are no longer serving you. It is ok if you have no clue where to start. This is a great first step!

Adults&Couples: I sit with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, and just not like themselves work through the pain of their past, and the difficulties in their inner and outer worlds so that they can feel at home inside themselves. I want my clients to feel like the life they have is completely aligned with who they are, and who they are, they love being. I work with clients that have experienced trauma, find romantic relationships and feeling safe in them difficult, couples feeling stuck in their same patterns and communication, and people who find themselves overwhelmed with their current day to day.

I believe people's pain is holy and sacred ground and that every individual's story has value. I work with individuals and couples, and I'm passionate about understanding my clients' struggles and giving them hope for healing and redemption. In coming to counseling, my clients can be assured that I'll provide a safe, non-judgmental space for them to grow and find healing. Of particular interest to me is helping people who struggle with relationship difficulties, sexual intimacy issues, vaginismus, sexual shame, religious and sexual identity conflicts, spirituality, and conflict and boundary issues.

I have extensive training in trauma, addiction, depression and anxiety, as well as stress and adjustment. I address the whole person in treatment planning. Individuals that work with me are empowered and encourages to meet their selected goal to achieve balance in their lives. We work together to form goals and I help you navigate the journey to wellness. We will use the body as a resource, as well as art, movement and poetry if a person chooses.This is a veteran owned business. I served 27 years in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman (Medic), I work with first Responders and thrir families, veterans and MST.

My passion is to empathetically guide and support transformation of traumatic experience. I will empower you to face your fears, unburden toxic shame, heal traumatic wounds and help you reclaim the courage that you know is inside of you. The ability to have love, compassion and acceptance for yourself are powerful healing forces that I strive to ignite, recover and unlock in my clients. Through EMDR and Somatic Experiencing I focus on restoring a sense of calm, centered connectedness within the brain and body. I work to inspire courage, promote healing so you can embody radical acceptance, release fear and embrace authenticity.

Since 2012 I have been working with adolescents and young adults navigating various different struggles of their life. Together, with their families (when appropriate) we work to develop a plan and a path towards health and healing. It isn't always easy, in fact it’s often counterintuitive and confusing. Healing isn't linear, but what I can offer is a chance to communicate better, connect, and return your home to a peaceful place. Whether you are struggling with relationships, yourself, school or work, I am ready to help you navigate whatever it is that is going on in your mind, and move you towards a more meaningful life.
