Through EMDR and Somatic Experiencing I focus on restoring a sense of calm, centered connectedness within the brain and body. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trained in the Internal Family Systems model, and Somatic Experiencing. The Courageous Healing approach uses a supportive, trauma processing curriculum that allows members to acknowledge the impact of trauma while focusing their energies on healing, enhancing their existing strengths, and building resiliency. You can gain a solid foundation to process trauma memories in a way that lessens the emotional intensity and brings an enhanced sense of liberation from the past.
