We serve adolescent and adult clients who may be struggling with any number of problems. Our measured, thoughtful approach to assessment and treatment planning helps to ensure that all clients are presented with treatment options that are well-suited to meet their needs. Through a careful and comprehensive assessment process, we will help you develop a deep understanding of the concerns that brought you to therapy. We will then discuss the available treatment options with you so you may choose the best option for you. Anxious, stressed, alone? Having trouble connecting with others on a deeper level? Have you already tried other methods of recovery and are now ready for something new? Are you dealing with a big life transition (recently moved, divorced, lost a loved one, helping with a sick family member) or are you ready to begin a new chapter of your life (new home, job, baby, retirement, healthy lifestyle changes)? Has creativity, nature and mindfulness ever been something you turn to in times of uncertainty?
Are you dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, work-related stress, or a difficult life transition? Life can be difficult and sometimes you encounter obstacles that are overwhelming, or you feel under-equipped to handle. You may be struggling and feel like you are alone, but I am here to help. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative experience between the client and the therapist. Therapy is a journey of self-discovery, understanding and acceptance. My job as a therapist is to be your guide on this journey, providing you with the tools to help you become the best version of yourself.
I became a therapist because I believe in the beauty of each person's unique story. As a therapist, I am passionate about empowering and walking with couples, women, and adolescents who are going through challenging seasons of life. My heart is in partnering with those navigating through chronic illness, relationship struggles, disordered eating and body image, faith-based counseling, grief and loss, and anxiety and depression. It is a great privilege to walk alongside individuals who are willing to put in the hard work to find hope and healing.
I love working with adults who feel anxious or out of balance. Life is full and my clients often feel stuck or restricted by the limits of time and responsibilities. They may wonder how to manage their relationships with self and others. When we feel stressed or overwhelmed, finding balance can seem out of reach. I will help you to understand your relationships and patterns so you can utilize your strengths and recognize your priorities. Sometimes it is nice to have a guide help us discern what can stay and what needs letting go. I can help you build curiosity and a calm presence so you can experience more ease and fulfillment
As a clinician, I know it is important to walk beside you in the journey of life and healing. My work with clients is through compassion, humor, gentle confrontation, and unconditional positive regard. Whether you have a specific issue or just don't quite feel like yourself reaching out to someone is a great first step. I work with children, adolescents, and adults using psychoanalysis and cognitive behavioral therapy to not only treat symptoms but also to understand yourself through your experiences.
Hello! As an experienced therapist I feel I can help teens, adults, couples and those in the LBGTQ area to sort out their issues, gain perspective to feel whole and healthy again. No one needs to suffer depression, anxiety, bullying , or low self worth. We can work these issues together.
**Not currently accepting new clients**I am here to help you identify and shift patterns in your life that are causing you to feel stuck or troubled. I can help you recognize feelings, thoughts, and emotions that are keeping you from meeting your potential. Meeting with me, you may notice I ask a lot of questions and am interested in your perspective on problems you wish to change. I am more interested in what you would like to be different than giving advice or drawing conclusions. I greatly enjoy working with individuals who have experienced trauma or who are worried that something is "not quite right."
Have you been trying to make life changes yourself without adequate success? Do you want to experience more satisfaction in your most important relationships? I enjoy working with youth, teens, and young adults, and athletes who struggle with anxiety, depression, and identity issues. Individuals looking for a person-centered approach where I am able to participate in a supportive role in the process. An ideal client might be looking for psycho-education, coping skills, a person who listens, or is unsure what their next step is toward their goals. Through our meetings goals and direction can be determined and success can be identified and tracked.

Do you have intrusive thoughts or worries, or maybe unexplainable urges or images that seem to come out of nowhere, are repetitive, that are stuck in your mind and cause significant distress and anxiety, and sometimes shame because of the themes? Are these obsessive thoughts, images or urges unwanted and continue to exist even though you know they are irrational, causing you to doubt yourself? Do you feel compelled to perform repetitive behaviors or mental rituals in order to decrease the anxiety and distress caused by the obsessions? If so, you may have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or a OCD spectrum disorder.
I work with children and adolescents, and I hope to help them feel that their problems are acknowledged and taken seriously. Whether it is to hear the client through their depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, or suicidal ideation, I want to make that client feel seen and heard.
Is your child or teen experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties, academic failure, self-esteem issues, or is a victim of bullying? My goal is to provide a supportive atmosphere to help assist in navigating and enhancing their ability to overcome problems, strenghten their relationships, build confidence, and develop a healthy sense of self. Therapy is not one size fits all and I believe treatment should be individualized based on the client. The therapy approaches I frequently use are Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Strength Based.
Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, BCIM, CWC, RYT, LCMHC
My ideal client is motivated to change. They are wanting to be heard, actively engaged and willing to try something new. For many people choosing to seek counseling can be a difficult decision. I believe it takes courage to reach out for guidance and support, which is why I strive to respect clients autonomy, beliefs and values. Counseling is the process of discovering your true self and gaining the courage to seek your own path in life. My role is to facilitate this process using a variety of techniques based on a strong therapeutic relationship.
When conflict is handled correctly, we grow closer to each other and allow our feelings to be validated. Recognizing that each person is unique, I work to establish a safe and healthy therapeutic alliance. The client is an active participant in the healing process.
I believe that people are so close to their own life’s challenges and stressors that they often miss what is right in front of them. Therapy provides an opportunity to step back and regain perspective. I know that each individual is an expert in their own lives, and at the end of the day, only they know what is best for them. Through therapy, I create a supportive and nonjudgmental space for you to speak your truth and look at things in a different way. I will point out and empower you to use your strengths to your advantage. Finally, I will sprinkle in some humor, swear words, and quote The Office because laughter is important.
