I have been a Counselor/Therapist for over 10 years and would love to help you overcome the obstacles that you are currently facing. I specialize working with kids, teens, adults, and couples. I can help you with your ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Sports and Performance Anxiety, and emotional needs. I can also help you with career planning, academics, and creating and following a budget for you and/or your family.

My aim is to collaborate in the process of restoration of people lives—providing compassion in order to renew hope. Thus, helping each individual and/or family I work with to experience an increasingly enriched life. I have a vast breadth of experience, but specialize in addictions, and working with teens/young adults as well as their families.

We all function in the context of relationships: with our partners, families, or larger systems such as school, work, church, and other environments. I want to get to know you and your story. I work with adolescents and adults to get a holistic understanding of the issue of concern and address it within the context of your story. I work with individuals, couples, and families to address a variety of issues from anxiety, depression, and communication challenges, to larger family issues that seem “too big” to figure out.

I am passionate about helping people find emotional, mental, and spiritual healing in their lives. With the pressures that can come from work, family, and/or society in general, I make it my goal to provide people with a safe space where they can process their current life events and/or past issues that are troubling them.

So much of what happens in life feels outside our control. Hard experiences, in childhood or more recently, can start to dominate our outlook on the future. Nothing can erase bad experiences, but my hope for all of my clients is that they are able to integrate all of their experiences, and better know themselves. By doing this, we can start to understand the foundations of our emotional upheavals and unhelpful reactions. With this information in hand, I believe, we are all best equipped to face our own unique challenges.

I Have worked in the areas of substance abuse and mental health for the past 29 years. I work with clients between the ages of 16 and 60. I have a strong interests in addictions, impulse control and personality disorders. I have sucessfully guided both individuals and couples through very difficult times in their lives and have seen many of them reach their highest potential in life. I have always been fascinated with understanding how people think, how they have come to believe what they believe and how they have become who they are. Coming from immigrant parents who came to America to enable their children to live a better life than they did, to them that meant getting a practical & stable job.
