Welcome! I am glad you are here. I specialize in working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, loneliness, and challenging life changes through a holistic approach to treatment. I have a passion for working with women, college-aged students, and teens. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I also love to support clients with a shared faith background through the use of biblical counseling practices, when appropriate and beneficial. For those who do not share the same faith background, I enthusiastically welcome you into my practice.

The mission of Elements Counseling is to offer therapy, psychoeducation and support to individuals, families, and youth. Elements help foster healthy behaviors and choices for those referred by our community partners, the judicial system, veteran affairs and through self-referrals. Elements offers youth, families, and individuals’ best practices and evidence-based treatments for those struggling with relationships, substance abuse, mental health, and personal crisis. Elements provides an array of services for the family and the community.

No matter the person, we all have challenges in this life to varying degrees. It is my heart-felt desire to be there to walk alongside my clients as they use their strengths and resources to move beyond these troubling times. I believe it is through our darkest times that we may use our pain to begin a transformation process to move into being our most authentic selves. I am calm, humble, honest, genuine, quiet, compassionate, and authentic way. I offer a safe, non-blaming, non-judgmental space for my clients. I act as a listener, guide, teacher, supporter, and encourager as my clients find purpose, meaning, and healing.

Let's get you back to living the life you always imagined. Everyone feels stuck at times and it is a privilege to assist individuals on their healing journey. I provide counseling and life coaching services to individuals dealing with a variety of issues including depression and anxiety, stress, relationship issues, women's health, chronic illness, grief and loss, trauma and more. I am currently doing teletherapy, as well as outdoor walk and talk therapy. I am a certified mindfulness-based ecotherapist and use nature as a healing modality with my clients. We all have the inner strength to heal.

Updated 1/20/24, I am not taking new clients at this time. My specialty is working with teen and adult trauma survivors. I treat victims of violence and abuse, as well as individuals suffering from anxiety and panic disorder, phobias, depression, and other stress related issues. Terrible events or repeated daily stresses can affect anyone and everyone, making life more difficult. Experiencing or witnessing a frightening, dangerous, or violent event can overwhelm our body’s natural coping abilities. Even more common life events like job/school stress can cause a trauma response as well.
