She then completed a Master of Arts degree at Antioch University in Santa Barbara, CA and a Doctorate of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University in Costa Mesa, CA. Dr. Berg brings with her over 30 years of clinical experience and has worked in community mental health settings as well as for the State of California where as Chief Psychologist she was the highest ranking member of her department.
Her experience includes providing evidence-based interventions for individuals and she also enjoys conducting psychological assessments to assist in diagnostic clarifications and treatment planning. Dr. Berg takes delight in helping others achieve their goals.
She utilizes a blend of psychotherapy, solution focused therapy, coaching, and assessment to help empower clients as they navigate through stressors. She is trained in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), Family Systems Therapy and Trauma Informed Care as well as a number of other treatment modalities.
