I believe that there is no "perfect therapy" for everyone. I feel that using an eclectic approach drawing from different therapeutic approaches based on the needs of the individuals is the best way to help them through whatever is facing them at that moment.I believe that therapy is fluid not straight forward. I work with each individual by meeting them where they are and helping guide them in the direction they want to go based upon what they are sharing in sessions. No one knows your issues or how to fix them better than you do; I just want to help you along your journey to healing.

Victoria was transracially adopted from China as an infant. Her previous work history includes: supervising visitation between parents and their children, working as a school counselor in a public charter school, providing intensive, home-based therapy to children with intense emotional and behavioral needs, and providing clinical case management to LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness. Victoria believes strongly in client-oriented services and that everyone should have access to the opportunities and support that they need to succeed. Victoria is also passionate about self-improvement and continuing to learn throughout your life.

Please note email is my preferred method of contact for new clients. When my clients are functioning at their best they are creative, playful, passionate, and hard-working. They are adults aged 18+ who are interested in a holistic look at their wellbeing (including factors like sleep quality, relationships, movement etc.). When struggling they tend to find themselves overwhelmed with worry, self-doubt, and/or self-criticism. They are also curious about their body sensations and what that information may mean for their mental health.

I love to partner with folx who are struggling with symptoms of trauma. We will begin by assessing how the trauma is impacting your daily life and then introducing coping strategies to decrease the symptoms.

Maybe you want a sense of security, to be calmer, to have more energy and creativity or more loving relationships. Maybe you want freedom from the after-effects of trauma. We begin with an attitude of loving self acceptance. You can change an unhealthy habit, heal from trauma or shed an addiction relatively quickly with a brand new (evidence-based) method called Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.). I bring wide experience and a large professional toolbox to help you toward your goals.

Our providers accept most major insurances, and are welcoming new patients with appointments often available in days, not weeks or months. Challenges, which are further confounded by a complicated and divisive political climate make this a time of grief, trauma, loss, and difficult transitions for many. Physical distancing measures, forced adoption of new technology, and disruption of our routines, though necessary to reduce the spread of COVID-19, bring additional struggles with preventing isolation, remaining engaged with social supports, and coping with stress and anxiety. Please talk with a provider if you are finding yourself overwhelmed or if you are experiencing changes in sleeping, eating, or irritability, whether or not your challenges can be explained by current situations We have immediate openings for therapy and medication management appointments.

I see children, adolescents, and young adults aged 5 and up with depression, chronic PTSD and dissociation, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD.
