Debbie Glasser, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist, author, and speaker specializing in parenting and child development. She is past chairwoman of the National Parenting Education Network (NPEN). In her clinical work, she has developed programs and provided services on a variety of topics ranging from sleep challenges to single parenting.

Dr. Glasser has appeared in Associated Press, Parenting, Family Circle, Redbook, First for Women, Parents, Family Circle, Baby Talk, USA Today, Media Tracks, and on CNN Headline News, CNN.com, PBS Public Television, Scholastic Online, and iParenting. Dr. Glasser was also the on-air expert for South Florida's WSVN weekly Parent to Parent segment.

Dr. Glasser is co-author of The Step-Tween Survival Guide, winner of the Voice of Youth Advocates (VOYA) Nonfiction Honor List and finalist in Foreword Magazine's Book of the Year award. She is also the co-author of New Kid, New Scene, published by Magination Press — an imprint of the American Psychological Association.

For ten years, she penned "Positive Parenting," a weekly column in The Miami Herald. Dr. Glasser served as consultant for Teach More/Love More, a monthly newsletter dedicated to improving the lives of families and children in Miami-Dade County, and has authored a chapter in The Experts' Guide to the Baby Years.

She lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband and five children.
