Kenneth R. Weinberg M.D.

About

Kenneth R. Weinberg, M.D., is a veteran emergency medicine and urgent care physician and registered New York State medical cannabis practitioner.

At the inception of his career (working at Bellevue and NYU Hospitals), because of his interests and passions, Dr. Weinberg began producing and appearing in shows on WBAI radio, as well as writing and publishing articles on ethics, politics, reviews of books and his own stories on emergency room experiences. Since 2016, he has emerged as a thought leader in the field of medical cannabis, especially in the exciting area of cannabis as a treatment for dementia, and is involved with research through his involvement in the Northwell Medicinal Cannabis Workgroup. Throughout this time, he has appeared in Forbes magazine, the New York Times, the Albany Times Union, on radio in NYC and Albany, and on television via Fox Nation and local New Jersey and New York TV stations. He has continued to write creative nonfiction stories about his ongoing, rewarding patient encounters and about literature and medicine, which have now been compiled into a book.
