Irvin D. Yalom M.D.

Irvin D. Yalom, M.D., is an existential psychiatrist and emeritus professor of psychiatry at Stanford University. He is the author of many books, both fiction and nonfiction, including Love's Executioner and Other Tales of Psychotherapy, The Gift of Therapy, and most recently A Matter of Death and Life.
