I am a mental health center specializing in early intervention, healing trauma in youth and adults, building healthy coping skills, and strengthening families across generations. I work with 2yrs through adults, and engage clients in play and expressive arts therapy, sandtray, and CranioSacral therapy per their goals. I support clients struggling with trauma, child abuse issues, divorce, depression, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and blended families. I offer after-school and evening hours. I provide a safe and supportive, strengths-based therapy unique to each client situation and their desired outcomes.

I currently provide telehealth services for anyone residing in California or Utah. I believe the core self knows what we need in order to heal if we listen. I have experience with teens/adults who struggle with suicidality/self-injury, trauma, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life-transitions, and spiritual/religious crises. We apply in-depth DBT, and also (importantly) what comes after DBT. I am trained in Mindfulness, DBT Foundations, EMDR, and Sand Tray work. I work well with spiritual orientations, behavioral approaches, narrative and strengths-based work. My doctoral research focused on self-injury.

I am a client-centered, holistic, integrative, systemic, and mindfulness-based Social Worker who utilizes self and social/community empowerment to inspire intersectional healing and alignment. I have extensive personal and professional experience related to depression and anxiety, ADHD, LGBTQ(QIAAP+) and multicultural matters, social activism and allyship, complex trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, and domestic and interpersonal violence. Amanda Mosse received her Master’s degree in social work from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2009 and has been working in a variety of therapeutic settings since 2008. Before coming to Discovery Ranch South Amanda was a lead wilderness therapist in Wisconsin where she specialized in trauma and attachment and became level 1 and 2 Brainspotting trained. Over the years Amanda has developed extensive experience working with individuals and their families struggling with depression, anxiety, unhealthy family dynamics, drug and alcohol dependence, suicidal ideation, trauma, and attachment disorders.

I am a licensed clinical child psychologist specializing in utilizing state of the art assessment and therapy techniques to detect and treat learning disabilities, ADHD, and other emotional/personality issues which may hinder a child's learning experience. In addition, our clinic performs infant developmental testing and kindergarten readiness evaluations. As a parent of five children, I understand the many issues that we face on a daily basis with our children and I strive to assist parents with finding answers to problems facing their family system.
