My client population includes children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals as well as families. I facilitate numerous groups and skills training curriculum in various topics including adolescent first offenders, anger management, divorce and separation, parenting, and teen issues.

Amplify Plus helps people heal and thrive through therapy or/and coaching from a Whole Health approach. Building on empowering clients to take charge of one's health and well-being to live life to the fullest and reach a balance of mind, body spirit. Our goals are to provide quality services to our clients that help their lives prosper and grow. Amplify Plus provides telehealth and face-to-face counseling to address a wide range of social and psychological therapeutic needs. We use evidence-based therapy (for example, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy) and Coaching to help make a successful transition.

I have worked in various settings, across all platforms and populations and have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, addictions (alcohol, drugs, and sexual), OCD and ADHD. I also have over 3000 professional psychotherapy/counseling hours working with young adults and couples. For attorneys, courts, and individuals involved with legal matters, I provide forensic services to include consultation, evaluations for court, drug assessments, sexual offense recidivism, and jury selection. I have also aided courts with child custody cases, home evaluations, and adoptions. I also provide psychological testing for private clients.

James Floyd is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas who has experience assisting hundreds of adolescent and adult clients work through depression, anxiety, developmental and life issues. He uses an integration of psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, internal family systems, solution focused and relational approaches to identify and work through both immediate and underlying issues and struggles. James received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.
