Finding a therapist and beginning therapy can be an intimidating process, but I am here to assure you we can tackle this together. I have direct experience working with cancer patients, traumatic brain injury survivors and those with chronic illness. I enjoy working with individuals with these health issues, as well as college students, parents, teens and adults working to improve their quality of life. I also am knowledgeable about neurodiversity and ADHD and currently offer ADHD assessments for adults (18+) in the state of Pennsylvania.

At some point in life, many of us struggle with a loss of joy and purpose in response to challenges such as pain, illness, trauma, life transitions, and other major stressors. I can help you stop fighting yourself and create a more peaceful and meaningful life. I see therapy as a dialogue, with us exploring together what works and is important for you. Hello there! My name is Bill and I hold a Master's degree in School & Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. I also completed my undergraduate coursework in Family & Human Services from the University of Oregon, and earned another Master's degree in Special Education from Penn State. All psychological issues are ultimately existential in origin, entailing a confrontation with death, loss, meaning, purpose and value. All that we do (knowingly or unknowingly) is dedicated to deciphering these daunting and irrepressible demands of existence. Few are successful in resolving or even clearly conceptualizing these existential issues and their minds inevitably descend into despair, depression and anxiety. Some seek to assuage their suffering with psychoactive substances (illicit and licit) and this leads only to addiction and abdication of autonomy over one's authentic self. I am a queer-identified therapist working in New York, Pennsylvania and New Mexico.
