Our mission is to help you heal your life and create the success that you desire. Personally I have over 15 years of professional experience and invaluable life experience. I have worked with crime victims, forensics, mental health and addiction. Although it’s always combined my passion has been to help you heal from trauma and PTSD because I have seen the results, you can live a happy and functional life with most the systems and without feeling depressed, anxious or traumatized. Dr. Deussing has helped many people with a variety of psychological presentations including mood disorders, trauma, grief, addiction, & personality disorders. Currently, three of his primary focuses are Borderline Personality Disorder, Ketamine Therapy, & Men's Mental Health. Dr. Deussing's core competencies are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Modern Psychoanalysis, & Psychedelic Therapy. He is a creative clinician who uses a humanistic client-centered approach. Dr. Deussing is an expert group facilitator licensed to practice in 6 states (PA, NJ, DE, CO, FL, & HI). He also provides training, supervision, & consultation services.

Having extensive experience, I use empirically supported therapies, and have treated a wide range of ages as well as the most serious disorders. It is my belief that salient therapy treats a client in 3 different directions: top-down (spiritual dimension), inside out (healing of memories), and outside-in (Cognitive-Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy). After a thorough assessment, I would identify with my client, determine problems on which to work, set appropriate goals, and determine the correct therapeutic intervention(s) to be used. Meeting those goals would be a therapeutic benchmark throughout the therapy.

With over five years of clinical practice, I have developed a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding these conditions and their impact on one's overall well-being. My experience has taught me that no two individuals are the same, and I am committed to tailoring my approach to suit your unique circumstances. My past experience in family based therapy has helped me adapt to the needs of my clients and the wide range of challenges they have faced. In my time in family based I worked with people diagnosed with autism, depression, anxiety, intellectual disability, personality disorders, mood disorders, and many others. I believe in meeting each client where they are at and approaching them in a more person-to-person fashion than therapist-to-client. Each person's story is unique and they are the experts on their own lives which allows me to approach their challenges with curiosity and a desire to learn about them and support where needed.
