I primarily work with the LGBTQIA2S+ community and have worked with trans, nonbinary, and gender-questioning adolescents, adults, and their families for the last 10 years around gender identity exploration, gender dysphoria, medical transition, and treating trauma related to gender and sexuality. I'm trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and provided individual and group DBT treatment. I lead an LGBTQIA2S+ DBT adult group through NW DBT. I also specialize in treating OCD, anxiety, and trauma. I'm trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD/anxiety and DBT Prolonged Exposure for the treatment of trauma.
Therapy is a collaborative process where safety and trust between client and therapist are key to successful therapy. I intend to give you a safe place to explore yourself free from judgment, oppression and harmful messages. I offer a free 30-minute consultation session to explore the potential of working together.
I'm a founding member of the International OCD Foundations (IOCDF) OCD Washington Affiliate. OCD Washington is a non-profit organization focusing on education to bring more awareness and reduce the stigma associated with having OCD, as well as, educating professionals and family members of OCD sufferers. www.ocdwashington.org
