Welcome! I am Elizabeth Conward, I am a licensed clinical social worker in both the states of Massachusetts and Florida. Life can be challenging, overwhelming, and at times unbearable. The great news is that if you are seeking relief from your day-to-day challenges, open to learning new coping mechanisms and open to change, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. My approach is to offer personalized, compassionate, and nonjudgmental support. I believe in empowering my patients and equipping them with the proper tools to appropriately deal with life events, reduce stress, and experience personal growth.

I have been in full-time private practice in Methuen and now North Andover since 2000. I have acquired an extensive amount of experience in a wide variety of settings including medical, legal, geriatric, substance abuse, inpatient and community mental health. Knowledge gained from this experience helps me a great deal in understanding and evaluating each client's individual situation. Early in my career I developed an interest in cognitive psychology and the connection between how people think and their behavior, emotions and relationships. This approach has subsequently evolved into what is now called cognitive-behavior therapy or CBT.

Problems and stress happen to all of us but stick to every person a little differently depending on our biology and life experiences. The symptoms that result from a high degree of stress, like anxiety and depression, require interventions like any other medical issue, or they will worsen, creating more health problems. Healing and change require a lot of compassion and a partnership of constructive problem solving. Therapy helps us do 2 important things: 1) Better manage disruptive symptoms and stressors. 2) Recover and discover meaning and success in life.

Guided by a vision of wellbeing, Sergei employs innovative methods that create a welcoming space, encouraging patients to embrace their true selves. Sergei earned his master’s degree with a certification in mental health and has a diverse professional background, including in-office, telehealth, hospital settings, and working with various age groups. His practice has served individuals ranging from youth to late adulthood. Sergei is dedicated to fostering a secure, proactive, and imaginative atmosphere in therapy, promoting patient autonomy and self-reliance.

The focus of my Telehealth only private practice is on counseling adults and couples. My therapeutic approach is one where we work together as a team utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques designed specifically to your needs. It is my belief that the majority of all our issues revolve around our relationships either with ourselves or with others. I have over 20 years of experience as a professional counselor. Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in helping individuals struggling with substance abuse, children and families in the foster care setting, victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse and assault, and clients with generalized anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and trauma. She particularly enjoys working with young adults struggling with depression and anxiety who want to work on their self-esteem and create a stronger sense of self-worth.

Sue Shearer is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has worked as a social worker in the Framingham community for over 30 years, helping countless parents and children impacted by trauma, substance issues, mental health issues, and domestic violence. Sue is known for her positive energy, creativity, and compassion. She is easy to talk to, interactive, and likely to share a laugh or two in sessions. Sue will work with you to find your strengths and build upon them to help you move forward through your life challenges. Sue is a holistic practitioner with a focus on wellness and the mind-body-spirit connection.

Hi my name is Venita and I am a seasoned clinician with many years of experience helping families and individuals in need. I am a licensed mental health and licensed addictions counselor in the states of Massachusetts and Georgia. I enjoy working with people who are seeking to make positive changes in their lives, but may need assistance moving forward. Helping people work through the stages of change is my specialty.

Alexis Baird received her BS in Hospitality Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst before becoming a nurse practitioner and receiving BS and MSN from Regis College in 2007. Alexis is experienced in family medicine, diabetes management, managing psychiatric illnesses across the lifespan, as well as extensive practice in geriatrics and substance abuse management. Alexis is currently studying to receive her PMHNP certification.

I provide support and education for individuals during moments of challenge or need. I believe we all benefit from having a neutral person to assist us with working towards our goals. We all can benefit from connection, compassion and understanding.
