I am Lauren, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in helping individuals struggling with substance abuse, children and families in the foster care setting, and both victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse and assault. I also work with clients facing generalized anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and trauma. I particularly enjoy working with young adults who are dealing with depression and anxiety and want to improve their self-esteem and create a stronger sense of self-worth.
I offer a nonjudgmental clinical environment where clients can process and identify their current struggles and start to unravel how those challenges came to be. Clients have shared that I am down to earth and that they feel comfortable opening up to me, knowing that I will support them in their choices.
Most of us go through life with some idea or plan of what we want to happen, but often we face obstacles that we didn’t plan for. Some of these can feel overwhelming and even impossible to navigate.
