As a clinical social worker, I have spent time working alongside of teens, young adults, and adults as they work through issues varying from typical developmental struggles to having to adjust following major life traumas. I am grounded in a strengths-based approach, and incorporate Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Internal Family Systems to address issues surrounding anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, eating disorders, grief and loss, sexuality, and anger.

I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years providing support to adults and adolescents. I believe that each individual is the expert in their own growth, change or recovery and I am here to assist in this journey. Monty W. Miller, LSCSW, LCSW, Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist, is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in the state of Kansas and Missouri, a Certified Life Coach with training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, IMAGO Relationship Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy and Bowen Family Systems Theory. He is a certified ART Therapist (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) to assist clients with healing traumatic events in their lives. He received a bachelor's degree in Psychology and earned a master's degree in Social Welfare from the University of Kansas.

I am a Licensed Clinical Specialist Social Worker and Sex Therapist currently achieving a discipline towards a PHD in Clinical Sexology. I work with individuals and families. I am Emily J. Runyan, a practicing psychotherapist since 2007 and board-certified neurofeedback clinician since 2019. I have a broad background in the field of mental health – having experience in psychological testing and evaluations, individual therapy, and most recently extensive training and continuing education in neurofeedback. I work with children (generally 6 and up), teenagers and adults and continue to offer individual therapy services as well as neurofeedback services to individuals seeking positive change.

I have worked in early intervention services for children with autism spectrum disorder in their home/community settings, as well as with adults with intellectual disabilities. In addition to this, I have served children and adults in residential/school settings who exhibit severe problem behaviors that are a barrier to their inclusion in less restrictive environments with the ultimate goal of increasing independence and teaching skills that would enable them to move back into the community. My current passion is expanding services in Southeast Kansas and preventing the need for day schools/institutionalization in the first place.

Jonathan graduated from Lesley College in Cambridge Massachusetts with a Master's Degree in Counseling/ Psychology. Jonathan has been studying and integrating transpersonal-psychology with expressive art therapies, meditation, and spirituality counseling adults, children, adolescents, families, and couples for over 30 years in schools, residential and outpatient settings. He specializes in treating issues of depression, anxiety, anger management, substance abuse, grief and loss, trauma and self-esteem. Sessions are currently being held in Vermont and in Kansas via telehealth.
