I am a Licensed Clinical Specialist Social Worker and Sex Therapist currently achieving a discipline towards a PHD in Clinical Sexology. I work with individuals and families. I am eclectically trained in areas of marriage/couples counseling, family structured therapy, behavior management/modification therapy, forensic social work, motivational interviewing, narrative approach, person-centered therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, comorbidity diagnosis and solution focused therapy.
I have developed my skills in trauma and motivationaI interviewing to work with the individual and their core beliefs that may lead to stagnant and unproductive behaviors, attitudes, and lifestyle that produce destructive patterns. We work together to understand the core of these issues and confront them.
I help the exploration of thoughts and feelings; working with teens and adults who are suffering with traumatic past, current, and post experiences. When working within the individual and family structure, it is important to truly understand the individuals environment. I help the client assess the core of this issue.
